TRAGIC BLESSING: MAN RECOVERS FROM ACCIDENT WITH HELP OF GOD, HRMC.

HRMC Physical Therapist Bobbi Lucklum and Author Bret Merkle pose for a photo in the hospital's rehabilitation department.
Woonsocket native, Bret Merkle, suffered paralysis in a tragic motorcycle accident in the mid-1980's. Recently, he wrote a book detailing his journey to recovery in which he cites his faith and physical therapy at Huron Regional Medical Center as major factors in helping regain his mobility and life.
