Visitors

HRMC knows friends and family are important to patients and can even speed recovery.

General visiting hours are:
11:00 a.m to 8:30 p.m.

Parents and siblings of newborns may visit any time.

Intensive Care visiting hours are:
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Please check with nursing station before entering an ICU room.

All visitors should exercise courtesy and cleanliness when visiting with patients. If you suspect you may be coming down with something, please refrain from entering patient areas of the hospital. Additionally, if you are susceptible to illness, it may not be a good idea to visit. Occasionally, visiting may be restricted due to outbreaks such as influenza.

Patient information and directions can be obtained from the hospital information desks at the Main Entrance, in the Central Tower lobby and at the Emergency Room entrance. You may also call HRMC at 605-353-6200 to obtain the room number of a patient, unless the patient has chosen not to have that information released.

Due to increased sensitivity to latex, no latex balloons are allowed anywhere on hospital property.
